Teaching Outline
- Fire as God’s Presence
- Fire is the symbol of divine presence and power.
- Moses met God in a burning bush (Exodus 3).
- Where fire burns, God is manifest.
- Three Dimensions of God’s Fire
- Purifying Fire: Cleanses sin and purges weaknesses (Isaiah 6:6–7).
- Empowering Fire: Equips believers for ministry and exploits (Acts 2:3–4).
- Preserving Fire: Shields God’s people from enemy attacks (Daniel 3:25).
- Keeping the Fire Alive
- Fire falls when prayer, word, and consecration align.
- Fire dies where compromise and lukewarmness thrive.
- Your altar determines your fire level.
Reflection Questions
- Is the fire on my altar burning or dying?
- Which dimension of God’s fire (purifying, empowering, preserving) do I need most right now?
- How can I practically sustain fire in my daily walk with God?
Prayer for Fire
My Father, My Father, as I begin to pray:
- Let Your fire fall afresh on my altar.
- Purge me with Your cleansing fire.
- Empower me with fire for exploits in my generation.
- Preserve me by the fire that cannot be quenched.
Closing Note
Every destiny requires fire. Without it, there is no purity, no power, and no preservation. As you seek God daily, cry for fresh fire. When the fire falls, weakness dies, boldness rises, and victory becomes your daily testimony.
